Land Surveying Professional – Land Surveying Department

BWE is seeking to fill a challenging opportunity for a self-motivated, energetic, analytical, highly competent, customer-focused Surveying Professional. Candidates should enjoy being on the leading edge of surveying technology, including 3D Laser Scanning. Knowledge of Trimble software and Civil 3D is a plus. The ideal candidate will possess at least 1-3 years of office surveying experience, and possession of a valid California LSIT certificate is desired but not required.

Under the direct supervision of a licensed Professional Land Surveyor, candidate responsibilities will include planning, assigning, reviewing, and producing final deliverables for survey products.

Essential Job Functions:

• Knowledge of field/office surveying methods, practices, techniques, and mathematical procedures for surveying.
• Knowledge of elementary principles and practices of surveying for engineering projects.
• Ability to understand and interpret legal descriptions and record survey maps.
• Ability to perform complex mathematical calculations with speed and accuracy, plan and organize the work as a 1 man or 2-man field survey crew to achieve optimum efficiency.
