Mayne Events Center and Fire Museum Recently Received a National Award of Merit

The City of Bellflower’s Mayne Events Center and Fire Museum recently received a National Award of Merit from Design-Build Institute of America!

As the first design-build project for the City of Bellflower, the team had a good deal to prove. By taking into account the needs and desires of the community, the team was able to overcome the challenge of heavy rainfall during excavation to deliver a popular and much-needed community center. It was successful to the extent that the City is now using design-build for new projects.
