Los Vecinos Apartments

Residential | LEED

BWE provided services for 42 one-, two-, and three-bedroom affordable apartment units ranging from 671 to 1,177 square feet and a 15,000 SF community center on the ground floor in a 3-story wood framed building with tuck-under parking. The complex implements a vast amount of energy-efficient and sustainable features such as water-saving landscaping, recycled building materials, solar panels, recycled carpets and countertops, along with energy-efficient appliances like tankless water heaters and Energy Star washer/dryers, all of which give it the highest rating for a project by the U.S. Green Building Council. It is a work force housing complex that includes a computer room and community room with a community kitchen.
