The construction of Normal Heights Elementary School required the acquisition of 40 parcels and the relocation of 154 households. It involved the vacation of streets and the relocation of drainage and utility infrastructure. The school can accommodate 600 students on 5.9 acres. The adjacent Joint Use Area (JUA) us used for soccer, baseball, basketball and includes playground structures.
