A 4-story, steel frame science building that replaced all science teaching spaces at Palomar College. The state-of-the-art 106,193 SF building includes 19 laboratories, six theatre style lecture halls, offices, classrooms, preparation rooms, meeting rooms, conference rooms and an observatory. The laboratories are designed and equipped specifically to study biology, chemistry, geology and physical sciences. Complex plumbing and HVAC systems were utilized to support the wide range of scientific study incorporated in the building. The exterior features brick, metal siding and EIFS finishes.
