The renovation and expansion of the University’s Ballpark includes improvements to expand the seating capacity of the Ballpark to 1,700 with the ability to expand to over 3,000 temporary seats for regional and super regional playoff games. The planning of the Ballpark will also include two suites, concession stands, restrooms, two suites, press box, field lighting, playing field improvements, home team locker room and clubhouse facilities. Constructed with local and recycled materials, low-flow plumbing fixtures, and a sustainable design, the project is designed to achieve LEED Silver Certification.
