ENGINEERED TO EXCEED EXPECTATIONS

The Conrad Prebys Performing Arts Center

BWE provided structural engineering design (as well as Land Surveying and Civil Engineering) for the La Jolla Music Society’s Conrad Prebys Performing Arts Center, affectionately named “The Conrad” after its key donor, Conrad Presby. The 49,000 square foot new development has three buildings surrounding a large open courtyard acting together as the permanent home for the Society. The facility includes a 500-seat Music Hall, office building and cabaret building with 140-seat flexible space for smaller performances.
